My wife and I were first time home buyers and quickly learned how complex and overwhelming it could be. I met with Brian and went over our apprehensions and wish list for our first home. Brian was very attentive and took notes along the way. He also raised a few points that we should consider when buying a home that we had not previously thought of. He gave us recommendations for schooling research and also financial lender references.
My wife and I had done basic research and had an idea of the neighborhood that we would like to live it, but did not share that with Brian on our first meeting. I wanted to see if he knew the area that would work best for us. I was amazed that he narrowed it down to a 3 mile radius from where we felt was ideal. What was also impressive is that he took into consideration all of our needs, wants, and concerns into place and made the recommendation of area that we would scout inventory within 60 minutes of meeting. He had the neighborhood knowledge and pricing in his head, without having to 'get back to me'.
A few days later we met and visited a few of the properties. Brian's professionalism and expertise were in clear view during this process. He helped us focus on the main objectives, instead of getting caught in the common traps of first time home buying. He was honest in his opinions where we should be looking at various projects, or whether some projects are just too much of a money pit. In addition, he was courteous and patient to let my wife and I envision various remodeling ideas for our fixer upper.
It took only a day or two to actually make an offer on the home. Brian was very thorough in his communication during the process. He was very consistent in his phone calls, emails, and followups. He was careful to explain to us the steps that were to come and what to expect as road bumps. I also have to point out, that the purchase of this home happened between December 5th and January 13th. He was able to keep constant updates and communication during the holiday season, where I feel many others would get lax.
During the process, Brian was very strong in terms of negotiations. He had his number, and we had ours in our minds. When the appraisal came back, we hit a road bump that was destined to throw the deal into the garbage. Brian's persistence and firm negotiating skills were able to get the home down considerably lower that we thought was possible.
It is due to his attention to details, compassion for his clients needs, strong communication and negotiation skills where I strongly recommend the services of Brian Adamski.
