Ahwatukee at a Glance

Ahwatukee is a village of approximately 77,000 people in Phoenix, Arizona. Unlike the other 13 villages that make up Phoenix, Ahwatukee is relatively isolated by the South Mountain to the northwest and the Gila River Indian Community to the south. This relative isolation allows Ahwatukee to maintain a level of peace and quiet, as well as a small-town atmosphere, unlike that found in any other Phoenix village. In fact, the Ahwatukee is sometimes referred to as the world's largest cul-de-sac.
The character of Ahwatukee is largely suburban. The people that choose to move to Ahwatukee do so because they crave the peace, quiet, safety and slow-paced lifestyle that the community offers.
You won't find a vibrant nightlife full of the city's best clubs or a downtown that goes from dusk until dawn. What you will find is a community that is perfect for raising a family with quiet streets where it is still safe for children to ride their bikes. You will find a community surrounded by well-preserved, unspoiled natural landscapes.
You will find a community with some of the most beautiful, luxurious homes in the Phoenix area.
And for those who crave a little more excitement in their lives from time to time, Phoenix with all its wondrous variety is just a short distance away.
