Why Living in MountainBrook Village is an Excellent Choice
The MountainBrook Village retirement community has 1659 home sites built around the village model. Homes range in size and style from standard single-family homes to small casitas. All single-family homes for sale in MountainBrook Village are single level and feature tile roofs, a minimum of two bedrooms, two baths and garage. Single family homes can be between 1,152 and 2,600 square feet,
Two casitas (e.g., duplexes) or “villas” share a single roof and a common, 6-inch dividing wall. This wall is filled to provide insulation and soundproofing. The exterior of the casitas is maintained by the HOA. This means a slightly higher monthly fee, but many residents feel it's worth it to remove the need to get out in the hot sun to cut the grass and sweep the sidewalk. Casitas range from 1,375 to 1,591 square feet.
Whether you choose to live in a single-family, standalone home or in one of the casitas, you can be sure that the quality of the construction will be top notch. The Amenities of MountainBrook VillageThough an active-adult community, the amenities of MountainBrook Village cater to both the seniors that love to be outside in the sun and those that prefer more sedate, air-conditioned activities. Sports – The Village has a variety of sports courts ready for the use of its residents 365 days a year – because it's sunny and warm year round in Arizona. You can take a turn on the pickleball courts and even compete in one of the many tournaments that are held weekly. The same is true of the tennis courts and the bocce courts.
Swimming – There is an outdoor lap pool, lounge and spa within the development. The pool is often reserved for water aerobics sessions and water volleyball matches, but the remainder of the time it is open to all residents and their guests.

Golf – Finally, there is the golf course. MountainBrook Village is built around the MountainBrook Golf Course – though the HOA has no ownership stake in the course. Still, many residents consider the golf course to be the community golf course, and the owners of the course encourage that by offering discount rounds, annual memberships and 10-round cards to residents, but even without the discounts, the convenience of being able to walk out of the front door and be playing a round of golf in minutes is an amenity that is hard to top.
